Dry Acid Inhibitor
Zinkan Enterprises, Inc. manufactures a series of
specialty chemicals
designed to protect equipment and inhibit the attack of
sulfamic, sodium bisulfate, oxalic, citric and other
acid solutions on mild steel, copper and brass during
industrial chemical cleaning and descaling operations.

Using Inhibited Acids |
|
The
dilute acid, inhibited with O'B Hibit™, needs to be
circulated through the equipment being cleaned. When
circulation cannot be accomplished, the equipment should
be filled with the inhibited acid and allowed to soak
until the acid has removed the objectionable deposits. O'B
Hibit™ is effective at temperatures up to 180°F / 82°C.
For compounding cleaners, mix O'B Hibit™ with the other
cleaning compounds and use on materials to be cleaned. |
