O'B Alge™ - 670
O'B Alge™ - 670 is a complex polymeric
quaternary ammonium microbiocide that is
especially effective in controlling algae, iron
bacteria and other slime forming microorganisms
that contribute to the biological fouling of
cooling towers, water storage tanks and heat
exchangers. O'B Alge™ - 670 can be used in
alkaline or acid systems and does not foam.

Control of applications is based on visual
observations or laboratory counts of organisms
present. Field testing of total counts can also be
arranged through your Zinkan Representative. |
Avoid contact with skin and eyes and do not
breathe fumes. If contact is made, wash copiously with
water. Do not reuse empty drum. Destroy by perforating
or crushing.

To control the growth of algae in the tower, O'B
Alge™ - 670 should be used at a rate of 6 to 60
fluid ounces per 1,000 gallons of water in the
system to provide 48 to 120 ppm at all times. The
level of treatment should be determined by the
amount of algae growth present. For specific
information on feed rates, consult your Zinkan
Representative. Consult label for directions on how
to apply. |
