Forecast snow
- apply at a rate of one-third
gal. per 1,000 sq. ft. up to 48 hours before the
storm materializes.
Forecast freezing rain
- apply at a rate of one-half gal. per
1,000 sq. ft. Note: FreezeTrol™ - 77 is water
soluble, it will tend to wash away in heavy rain.
Reapplication may be necessary if more than 1/8" of
rain falls before icing conditions occur.
Container/System

A tank garden pump sprayer with adjustable nozzle is
a suitable dispenser. Precautions should be taken to
avoid atomization or excessive misting. A "wet
spray" will give them the most effective results.
Bulk Application - For anti-icing or de-icing large areas, it is
recommended that FreezeTrol™ - 77 be applied from
calibrated, commercial spraying equipment.
Nominally, a self-contained spraying rig, with a 500
gal. tank and capacity for delivering 5 to 20 gpm
from a ten-foot wide spray boom would cover a
ten-acre parking lot in approximately one-half hour.
