SC-10
O'B No Foam™ SC-10 is a silicone liquid blend
of surface active agents which work to control
foam over a broad pH range of industrial
processes. O'B No Foam™
SC-10 will prevent foam from forming or where
already present, will deform large accumulations
of existing foam. |

Foam™ SC-10 should be considered wherever foam is a
problem. |
Depending upon
conditions 1 - 500 ppm may be required. Water
solutions of 5% or stronger may be prepared for more
accurate addition.

Packaging and Shipping |
|
O'B No Foam™ SC-10 is
packaged in 55 gallon (450 lbs.) and 5 gallon (40
lbs.) containers. It is shipped F.O.B. Zinkan Plant.
Cautionary Note:
Excessive foam in an aeration basin causes a variety
of problems. A foam blanket can interfere with
oxygen uptake of the microorganisms and hinder BOD
reduction. Foam can also cause a biological floc to
float, producing sludge which will not settle in the
final clarifier. Safety and aesthetic problems occur
when wind blows foam across parking lots, highways,
or neighboring locations. Foam in plant outfalls is
an aesthetic unpleasant situation. |
