O'B Col™ Series
The O'B Col™ Series products allow for fine tuning the needs of a particular boiler system. There is almost an infinite combination of boiler designs and feed-waters. The same feed-water, if left untreated, would form different types of scale in different boilers. The O'B Col™ Series allows for treating the individual needs of the system. The final goal is boiler water that will readily transfer heat and not form scale inside the boiler tubes. Your Zinkan Enterprises, Inc. field representative is trained to test and analyze your boiler system and recommend the products to optimize the boiler's performance. Following are examples of the O'B Col™ Series of products.

 
Technical Data
Dispersite Chelants
O'B Col™ OP-241 prevents scale formation by metal ions and hardness salts in the feed-water by keeping them in a fluidized state. O'B Col™ CP-345 maintains the solubility of mineral salts so that they will not form scale on the internal boiler surfaces.
Carbonate Phosphate
O'B Col™ AC-205 is designed to for use in boilers operating at less than 300 psig, on high hardness feed-water. The higher solids levels can be safely maintained in the boiler because O'B Col™ AC-205 turns the mineral hardness into non-scale forming carbonates, which can then be removed during the blowdown cycle of boiler operations. O'B Col™ D-610 contains phosphate that combines with calcium in the feed-water to form calcium phosphate. The calcium phosphate can then be removed during the blowdown cycle of boiler operations.
Alkalinity
O'B Col™ AX-50 is used to adjust the pH of the system.
