Shur-Coal™ 162
 Shur-Coal™ 162 frother is a patented glycol ether alcohol-type frother. Although this frother is only slightly soluble in water, it has a high degree of dispersion in water.
Uses: Coal flotation for use in both column cells and conventional, mechanical flotation cells.

Application Advantages
Shur-Coal™ 162 should be added at a dosage rate from 0.05 to 0.75 lbs./ton. Shur-Coal™ 162 frother may be applied to the head of the flotation circuit or via stage addition. It can be effectively blended or added with fuel oil to coal. - Low cost
